It’s exactly two years since we first published a selection of work by young Vietnamese designer Estince Voi, so it seems like a good moment to show you some of his more
recent illustrations. Say hello to Book Guardians, Fish To School and Dark Horse. I have included Estince’s own explanation of the plot.

Book Guardians
“The boy is protecting his tiny dream from evils. Fighting beside him are guardians from his favorite books: The Lord of the Rings, The Golden Compass, The Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter”.

Fish To School
“The fish carries poor students to school after a flood”. This work is done for a local charity group called "Art for Peace", which supports the families of fishermen whose livelihood was destroyed by a recent pollution accident - artists provide their images for free, they are printed on postcards and sold, the revenue funds the kids school fees. What a great idea!
Dark Horse
This illustration is the first in Estince’s ‘Tiny Worlds’ series: “Mini bean monsters explore the ancient tomb and accidentally wake up a dark lord with his skeleton army”.
