Producing icons requires a high level of skill - creating a work of art that is detailed, sharp and meaningful in a tiny space is a task that has defeated
many talented designers. But amongst Xara Xtreme owners there are several great icon designers, and this month we are showcasing a few examples
from those displayed on TalkGraphics.com.
Denis Sazhin (Centaurus on TalkGraphics)
Denis has inspired many other Xtreme owners to try their hand at icon design. His tiny images are the perfect icons in our opinion - combining
incredible detail, beautiful shading - and a sense of humor!
Denis is from Russia and the icons on the right were inspired by his boyhood
memories of ‘summer camps’ - so we take that to be pillow fights, camp fires,
late night horror stories, and early morning wake up calls (plus some ‘nation
building’).
