Planes, trains and automobiles have always been hugely popular with Xara artists, and we’ve featured many superb illustrations in previous issues of
Inspirational Art - have a browse through the back issues via the drop down menu at the top of this page and you’ll see what we mean. But we haven’t
had a vehicle theme since October 2013 so we feel it’s safe to return to the road with this selection of images from four different well known Xara
designers, mostly chosen from posts in the Xara Art Gallery forum on TalkGraphics.

Evgeny posted this illustration of a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX in this thread on TalkGraphics. As you can see he’s made great use of named colors,
and incredibly this was his first car illustration - you can see some later examples in his selection in the Xara Gallery on xara.com.

These two photorealistic images definitely have the wow factor, they actually look better than the showroom models! The Stingray comes from this

Ron Duke
No car theme is complete without an illustration from Ron Duke, who inspired so many other Xara artists to try their hand at car illustrations (but if you
want to see something completely different from Ron, check out the image we just featured on our Facebook page). This Ford van comes from his
selection in the Xara Gallery.
